Frequently asked questions.
What is Patty land?
The land we are getting married on has been in the Patty family (Jonathan’s Mom’s side) for over 100 years. Their ancestors came across the Oregon Trail and settled here in the Willamette Valley. Grandpa Patty used to till these fields with a horse team.
In 2020, Steve Patty (Jonathan’s uncle) decided to plant a vineyard on the land. The Pattys gathered as a family to plant over 1,000 vines. These grape vines will last for generations, a homage to family history and our future. We are so honored to start our lives as a married couple on Patty land.
What should I wear?
Our wedding will be what we like to call “funky formal”! We want to see you step out in bright colors, fun patterns, lots of texture and looks that are a bit outside the norm! No pressure of course, but we’d love to see some personalities shine. You can reference our Pinterest board for ideas or see below for some inspiration.
How do I know if I have a plus 1?
Your invitation should be addressed to you and your plus one but if you are not sure do not hesitate to reach out to either the bride or groom!
Are my children allowed?
While we love all of your littles, we will only be allowing a small handful of them to come to our wedding. You will see them included in your RSVP if that is the case.
When should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP by July 22nd.
